rose diamond NECTARINE jam

The rose diamond is a juicy nectarine with bright yellow flesh and blushing red skin. We got a limited amount of gorgeous nectarines from Masumoto Family Farm, and made it into some very delicious jam! 

Nectarines are closely related to peaches and share many of the same traits, although they tend to have smoother skin, firmer flesh, more concentrated flavors, and more distinct aromas.

Much like peaches, nectarines are believed to have originated in China over 2000 years ago. They reached the Mediterranean by about 300 BCE via ancient Persia (hence their latin Prunus persica), and were introduced to America by the Spanish.

Due to limited availability of fruit, we were only able to produce a small amount of this jam, hence the "LIMITED EDITION" label. Please note that LIMITED EDITION jams are only available from our website.
