This is a spicy version of our SALTY LEMON! If you love salt-preserved meyer lemons, and you love spicy food, you'll love this!

We used piment d'ville chili in this condiment - it's grown by our friends at Boonville Barn (an incredible farm in Mendocino County's Anderson Valley that grows peppers and beans).


These peppers are grown from the seeds of the basque chili "piment d'espelette" - it's sweet and spicy and richly flavorful. Since these peppers are grown in Boonville (not in Espelette), they're named after Boonville, hence the name "piment d'ville!"



Use this spicy salt-preserved meyer lemon condiment to make your food pop with flavor and brightness. It's a delicious addition to any savory dish and is great with vegetables (green beans, asparagus, kale), proteins (fish, chicken, lentils, bean soup), or make a lemon-herb sauce (add chopped herbs and olive oil).

 

Try it in a crunchy celery fennel salad!


 

 

INGREDIENTS: organic meyer lemons (grown in San Juan Bautista, California), organic meyer lemon juice, sea salt (solar-evaporated in the San Francisco Bay), piment d'ville chili pepper powder (grown in Boonville, California)
