salt-preserved BEARSS LIME


salt-preserved bearss limes! Kind of like Indian pickled limes, but without the spices. Kind of like salt-preserved lemons, but with limes! Unlike our salt preserved lemons, these limes are all chopped up - just scoop out a portion and add to your food! Fantastic with Indian-spiced foods!
Heat oil in a pan, add chili flakes, whole cumin, whole mustard seeds, ground coriander and black pepper. Cook until fragrant, then add salt-preserved bearss limes and pre-cooked (or canned) chickpeas. Cook some more, salt to taste. Great served with rice or bread or potatoes or whatever you like!

INGREDIENTS: organic bearss limes (grown in Corralitos, California), sea salt (solar-evaporated in the San Francisco Bay)
