Wondering why our tayberry jam won't be back until 2017? There's only one farm that grows tayberries in our region, and the heavy rains of this past winter damaged the vines. Since tayberry fruits on second-year vines all the new growth of this summer will not produce fruit until 2017, hence the long wait for tayberries. To be notified of when it will be back in stock simply add your email address above and click the "Notify Me" button. If you're looking for a jam to tide you over until tayberries are back, for the closest substitutions we recommend josephine RASPBERRY, triple crown BLACKBERRY, and obsidian BLACKBERRY.
A cross between a raspberry and a blackberry, this jam has the best of both worlds: the bright tartness of raspberry and the warm, spiced, foresty sweetness of a blackberry, with a chocolaty finish.
The complex flavors of the tayberry jam are great with classic pairings. Try this jam with vanilla ice cream or on a warm buttered slice of toast.
- Rachel and Lucy / Dinner Was Delicious
"Natural jams: not too sweet, INNA jam uses unique Bay Area fruits like tayberry, a raspberry-blackberry hybrid."
- Food & Wine Magazine
"It’s pretty much the best jam that ever could be and plays just as politely with bright, fresh chevre as it does with one of my other faves, Big Spoon Roasters [nut butters]. I have also been known to just stand in front of an open fridge and eat it out of the jar like a bowl of soup."
